AUCTIONEER GUIDE
The Louisiana Association of Professional Auctioneers (LAPA) is a trade group established in 2012 to promote professionalism and integrity in the auction profession in LA. LAPA members fit into one of three categories:
1. Currently-licensed LA auctioneers.
2. Former LA-licensed auctioneers within 10 years from LAPA's inception in 2012.
3. Bid assistants within 10 years of LAPA's inception in 2012.
ALL LAPA members sign sworn oaths ascribing to six (6) basic tenets:
