October 18, 2010:

October 26, 2010:

December 15, 2010:

January 14, 2011:

Burns sends letter to Dow relaying he is pleased with the changes in LALB Chairman Comer's demeanor and attitude toward guests at meetings and with those whose viewpoints who differ from his in general.  Accordingly, Burns offers to settle suit by LALB merely reimbursing him for court costs incurred.  CLICK HERE to see Burns' January 14, 2011 letter to Anna Dow to settle suit.

 

 

March 21, 2011:

LALB accepts Burns offer to settle suit, and the matter is dismissed. 

END RESULT

So, in the end, the LALB incurs costs of over $1,000 defending and settling Open Meetings suit.
